Lesley-Anne (Annie) FriedmanAnnie, a native California girl, knew from early in her childhood she wanted to follow in her parents footsteps and make a career in medicine. She attended University of Southern California for her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing where she thrived and graduated Valedictorian of her Nursing Class. She developed a passion for the cardiovascular system early in her training and upon graduation worked in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). After working in the CCU for a few years, she started her Master’s degree at UCLA while continuing to work. She met her now husband, a native Texan, at UCLA while he was training in the CCU as an Intern. They got married the summer she graduated and was certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) and moved to the North Dallas area. They since have been blessed with 2 children: Andrew (4) and Sarah (18months). She gained a tremendous amount of experience in electrophysiology, both invasive and non-invasive cardiology and cardiac surgery while working at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano for the past nearly 7 years. She brings an extensive range of cardiac experience and a passion for improving the cardiac patient’s quality of life and functional capacity. She joins Advanced Heart Care in April 2016 and looks forward to caring for you and your loved one’s heart health.
