Dr. Evans a highly-skilled, compassionate cardiac electrophysiologist, dedicated to caring heart rhythm disorders and overall health of his fellow North Texans. He strives to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each patient’s needs and goals for their own health care, and in a language that they can understand. With a personal understanding of the significant impact that these conditions can have on patients and their families.

Dr. Evans is well-versed in all aspects of heart rhythm disorders, in particular ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) as well as medical therapy options for each. Also highly experienced in left atrial appendage occlusion devices aimed at reducing the risk of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation unable to tolerate anticoagulation. As an advocate for ongoing education, he routinely participates in educational activities and conferences on the latest advancement in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders.

Dr. Evans is also a proud veteran, serving as an active duty officer in the United States Army, caring for sick and injured soldiers both stateside and overseas in the desert of Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, where he was awarded commendations for providing medical care to injured soldiers while under fire.

Having experienced tragic effects of atrial fibrillation in his own family, he is particularly committed to the detection, management, and potentially cure of this condition. Further, as most problems have more than one management approach available, he provides each patient with management options to meet their needs and expectations for their care. He cares very much for his patients, and is honored to be an important part in their lives, as they are in his.
